My mum uses Chrome for all her web browsing and for some reason pretty much every online store now comes with ads that appear to be coming from Kelkoo (when i hover the mouse cursor over the ad). You can see them under the picture of the boot in the screenshot below.

I've run Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, Avast and Windows Defender and none of them pick it up. Even Ublock Origin doesn't block them.

I really cant figure out where they're coming from and how to get rid of them. Any help would be most appreciated.

have not yet neutered chrome myself, but I had high hopes that a good filter list can do this with UBo and was going to ask Orcavader.

Doesn't seem to be on the blog page any more so I assume Mozilla has removed it. Even then, looking at the recommended list it's not exactly perfect (containers is already built in, Disconnect for FB seems pointless if using the FB container addon, with the right filter lists uBo can do a lot of the same stuff as some of the other addons).

The new permanently logged into your google account chrome funtionality - is another issue I need to resolve

edit on 2nd thougths is this a malware extension that was added to chrome - will 'amazon assisatant' produce such adds, irrespective wil UBo not tell you the name of the domain delivering the adds ?
