ken blocks got a new toy

It is an awesome video.

I don't care that it's edited. You should just watch it for what it is, and if you can honestly say you don't want a shot... what the hell are you doing in Motors?!

Great video, but the end of it just makes me think that Ken Block's just a bit of a tool with too much money and time on his hands.

If you had his skills, a massive arena like that and lots of money and a crew willing to film whatever you want - what would you do?

Great video, again no issues with it being edited as no way he could nail every part and obviously getting the best angle isn't easy.

Hope he does more.

Indeed. It's awesome stuff :)

dont get me wrong the guy is more skilled with a car than i'll ever be

But his performance in this years WRC has tainted my view of him some what. I notice stuff in this video, like hitting the wall, getting the Scandinavian flick wrong ( at several points he comes out of it facing 45 degrees to the left, ie NW and has to bring it back into line) that makes me think that although he is a good drive, he isnt exactly some kind of driving god.

And the bit at the end, where he does doghnuts till the tyres go as well, seems a tad, hmm how i put this ... unenjoyable maybe ?

Call me an old fart but im not comming away from this buzzing thinking what an amazing video.

Says the man with a volvo :p

Really really enjoyed that video! Much less slow mo crap like the second and a lot more like the 1st, although doesn't quite match that.

He certainly isn't the best out there but who else puts on amazing events like this for us all to see? No one!

i've been the first to admit the volvo is boring as hell. Its why i hate it :p

I mean yes the video isnt like anything anybody else gives us, but i just dont love it as much as the first, i'm not sure if its just been played out, of if its seeing his poor performance in this years WRC or what.

Big meh, the first one was great but it just feels tired now. He's not that good anyway. Clearly the boy can drive but he's not exceptional by rally standards.

phew gladi its not just me.

lol at the slating of his rally driving. hes in a new team and shouldn't expect miracles

not to mention that what hes doing in these vids is a whole different type of driving.

entertaining video imo

Although the video definately looks editedto some extent, it sure does look good.

0-60 in 1.9 seconds? That cant be right surely?

most likely light weight competition trim car 4wd and 650 bhp add t/c and all sorts of electronic gizardry and soem super sticky slicks and yep very possible

Slicks, Latest up to date 4wd, almost seamless shifting, launch control and Anti Lag, certainly possible. Its what the cars are built for.

Agree with you totally when comparing it to the first, that was shockingly good, especially as he was unknown and nothing had really been done like that before.

Wonder how many takes, and how many he trashed.

Tempted to give your fez a few tweaks like his? :D
