Didnt know Kenny Dalglish had a column in the daily mail...thought it was an interesting read comparing 'the good old days' to today. He also talks about the advance in sports science and how much he has been taken aback by it all (and how clueless he is about it!):

Ive been lucky enough to see the training facilities at Melwood first hand and it is pretty amazing what equipment they have at their disposal.

I guess with the addition of Steve Clarke to the team, he will help bridge that gap and prove a very shrewd addition. How vital was he to chelsea's success?? If they both manage to turn around liverpools season ( the team needs a run of wins for this to happen) then i can only see them getting the job full time. Plus i dont think there is anybody else out there good enough for the job.

I know exactly what you mean !!!

I think we can only get happy if we string some results together - this season is ridiculous in that if you win 3-4 games in a row you can climb half way up the table just like that. A few seasons back liverpool would string 6/7 wins in a row about this time - we are so far away from that its not even funny.

We should be signing steve clarke for the long haul but i guess its too risky if someone new comes in at the end of the season - who that could be is anybodys guess.
