Kensington lock alternative

My colleague wants to update her ageing Mac Book with a 13" Mac Book Air. However she relies on Kensington lock which don't appear to be on newer/thinner versions of the Air. She is wondering what the best alternative is, specifically The BLADE Universal Macbook Lock. Does anyone have one or can recommend another? Thanks

I use one on a 15" rMBP that I usually leave on my desk at work. A good deterrent, but a good set of tin snips would be throught the bracket in seconds.
