Keplar real specs...maybe?

Charlie's latest article on SA confirmed that Kepler has dropped the hot clocks. If this is true then these slides are 100% fake by virtue of the fact they list the hotclocks.

"Internal Server Error 500" with the link in OP now.

Here are the two charts in the article for those that missed them

personally i cant see these as being particularly accurate, for one thing just look at the memory sizes they are all over the place, if you (OK not you because you know what your looking at) but if Joe bloggs walked in to a major PC high street store and saw a gtx 660 next to a gtx 660ti he would by the 660 just because it has bigger numbers on the box let alone the fact that its cheaper.

anyway seeing as the site is now down i reckon they are definitely bogus.

So first you complained about people trying to justify the high prices, and then you go out and buy a card? That is about as much as you can justify it! :p

Oh, I'm not trying to justify it.
I absolutely hate myself for buying it.
It's an awful price, and it's only just about the same end performance I had since the 5970 in 2010.
It has no reason to be at the price it's at.
I'm only saying why I bought one, and to be fair, the PCS+ is quiet, I've got single GPU, I'm happy on that front with the heat/noise/performance but not the price.

I don't think anyone outside of nVidia actually knows if they've dropped the hot clocks or not. They do appear to have a part that doesn't have a hotclock but don't think its been confirmed its even a GeForce part (could be a purely compute market aimed product) or even if its the case for Kepler as a whole or not.

It is funny how things work out, you kind of would expect Fosters to be cheap in Australia, but I bet its not, in the same way Heineken is expensive in Amsterdam. I know that these two beers are brewed in other countires for sale around the world, but when your in the home town of one, you do expect a cheaper deal to be honest.

Corona beer (well, cerveza, but cerveza is spanish for beer) cost more in the USA than Newcastle Brown Ale. NCB was cheaper than Bud out there.

Corona here? my brother used to get it really cheap.

Morrisons near me had Corona quite cheap last week, not sure if the offer is still on.

Actually the 560Ti and 580 are different architecture GPUs. It is the GTX560Ti 448cores that got the same GPU as the 570/580.

Actually there are two versions of the GTX560Ti with 384 cores. One is based on the GF114 core and the other (OEM version) is based on the GF110 core.

Wait a sec, nvidia disabling 1/4 of a chip for the 660 ti? Doesn't make much sense to me.

The GK104 and GK110 are GK112 are three different chips. Presumably. If the rumors are correct. AT any rate, it's unlikely they'll lock down a high-end chip to make a mid-range one.
