Why are they naming their hardware after Physicists?

It's cool to name them after some of histories most brilliant minds, there should be a Hawkins or Sagan GPU.

I was thinking its a little insulting to associate great physicists with something that blows a lot of hot air. Perhaps they should name them after politicians.
