ok, this might be in the wrong forum, please move if so.
so the other day i upgraded from windows 2000 professional server to XP Professional.
did a hard reboot and managed to get half of my music and films corrupted. Bum i said. proceeded to use XP on the less. the other night, the PXC decided to go ***s up on me. Fixed the damn thing today and now, some how, those previously corrupted music and film files now work!! strangest thing is, i sent my mate an mp3 over our network after the first XP install, and he coulndt play it either...
wtf is going on here? im annoyed, but in the end grateful its worked, as i thought i had lost a priceless video of Rahzel and Mike Patton from leeds, but now im watching as if nothing had ever happened!
