Right, hoping you guys can help as I am at the end of my tether.

I have the pc in my sig, running and AMMD 965 on an asus M4A79XTD-Evo board running windows 7 64 bit.

I continue to get random freezes/hangs which can only be resolved by a hard reset.

I am on my fourth set of ddr3 so would like to think that isnt the problem. I am using the high power setting in windows. And i have just now disabled cool'n'quiet to see if that helps. I ahve reinstalled win 7 so its relatively clean.

I have checked the event viewer and getting the following:

My eternal gratitude to anyone who can help?

I have tried now also turning on ecc in the memory options to see if that helps. Sigh I wish diagnosing errors was not so hit and miss.

Mmmm, computer jsut threw another fit. Really stumped now, anyone else had this problem?
