Hi
Ever since I got my MBP I noticed that the process "kernel_task" was always doing something - constantly using between 5% and 25% of my CPU usage and usually around 400MB of RAM. Is this normal? I've had a search on Google but most issues are for kernel_task using 100% of CPU usage on MacBook Air's, nothing much about MacBook Pro's.
If this isn't normal, does anyone have a suggestion on how to track down what the problem could be?
Cheers
