Anyone going to any of the dates for the kerrang tour?

I'm a massive fan of circa survive and when i found out they were playing i had to get tickets but alas they sold out fast so after about a week or trying i finally got some of everyones favourite auction site.
Sadly i'm guessing circa will be on first as they are probably the lesser known bands on the rather poor line up which is as follows,
Coheed and Cambria
Madina Lake
Fighstar
Circa survive

Now i know i hate Madina and Fightstar but have heard some good things about C&C so could anyone recommend any tracks or and album worth listening to by them before i go? I'm heading the Manchester event:)

I'm a big Co&Ca fan and got tickets as soon as they went on sale, for them alone! I hope you didnt pay too much for your tickets on fleabay!

No World For Tomorrow is their latest album, have a listen to;
- No World For Tomorrow
- The Running Free
- Gravemakers & Gunslingers

In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 is probably my favourite album.
- In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3
- Three Evils
- The Velourium Camper I - Faint Of Hearts (my ringtone :p)
- A Favor House Atlantic

Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV is their second latest album. It's good but i really dont like the drum mix, which really puts me off it :(
- Welcome Home (a possible opener?)
- Ten Speed (Of God's Blood & Burial)
- Wake Up (great acoustic track)

That should probably do ya for now :D

Got my hands on In keeping secrets of silent earth and its not to bad and the tracks on their myspace :)
Fightstar and madina lake on the other hand can swivel, i actually contemplated leaving after circa finished but as i paided twice the face value for them () so i reckon i'll torture myself and stay

I've never had the chance to do this!! there's already a thread about this. I'll let you off because it had gone to the top of page 2, so search wouldn't have worked! :p

Ah well, at least i know circa are on first so i can leave after they play if i cant stomach madina lake and fightstar :D I'm dreading the amount of teeny bopper scene kids that will be there as well....

My friend was asking if i wanted to go to this, i just laughed :)

Since theres only one band in the line-up i even kind of like (coheed) then theres not really any point.

Just got back and circa survive were stonkingly good!!! Hated the others apart from Coheed and Cambria who were pretty decent.
Place was swamped with little kids as i expected and a 37 year old women was trying to hit on my mate which was a laugh :D

Saw this friday night, my mate bought the tickets and I thought it was for only Coheed & Cambria but only found out as we got there it was for four bands.

Circa Survive were good,
Fightstar were OK, nothing I would go out and buy though.
Medina Lake were absolutely dire, never seen such trite in my life. (Oh and if you have two guitar parts in all of your songs, get a second / touring guitarist).
Coheed & Cambria were immense - specially loved the the duet of backing singers added so much to the set!

seen in Cardiff, was impressed by the Fightstar the mosh pitt was carnage during death car. The Encore was worth going to see if for nothing else Claudio Sanchez comming on with dual guitar playing "Welcome Home" behind the back of his head totally amazing the place erupted.

Did anyone go to this in Brixton? What the heck happened to Madina Lake? They just started fighting with someone just off-stage in the middle of a song, then came back on and whined about Coheed's tour management ''telling them what to do''? So random! Definately didnt earn them any more fans that's for sure!

I missed Circa Survive, but saw a bit of Fightstar (ok), Madina Lake (as above) and Coheed & Cambria (epic, but actually the sound wasnt very good :(). Good gig

Not going to Kerrang as I don't consider the lineup great. Saw New Found Glory in Leeds on Thursday and they were awesome, as usual. :D:D:D
