Think I'll re-read his book Ghost in the wires.

Pretty much invented cell phone hacking, dumpster diving and was a pioneer of social engineering.

I remember back in the day he became the anti establishment hero.

I just heard about his death recently. Very sad news, at a young age.

But what a life. Making his mark in history.

I'm not sure whether it's so easy today the way he would go to a city and assume someone else's identity. Then get himself a paying job

Thinking about it, it's probably on steroids now on the dark web.
