Right guys I need advice on new gaming keyboards and mouse. I currently have a Microsoft Sidewinder x6 and Microsoft Sidewinder x5 mouse. Now there decent I know but I'm board of them and want new. I rather fancy a mechanical keyboard. Price anything upto £200 for the both. Thanks in
advance.

Corsair mechanical keyboards are decent and mechanical i beilieve, and get a RAT 7 gaming mouse, search them up on overclockers they should come between 130-160

In my opinion a mouse is something you just have to decide on yourself. There's so many out there and people use them so differently it's hard to just spec somebody a mouse. Maybe if you give us a bit more info about how you hold it, what you use it for, how you use it, what sensitivity you like playing at etc it would be a bit easier to spec that [instead of] each of us just saying our own favourites (fyi, mine is lachesis all the way).

As for a keyboard, that's a bit different as they're pretty much all the same shape. A popular mechanical of choice at the moment and which seems to get good reviews is this.

I hold it full length and like it to fill my hand using the tips of my fingers for the buttons.I use it for general use and mostly fps gaming at a medium sensitivity.

Not fussed about keyboards, just something with good response is all I need.

For the mouse my choice would be the G700 by Logitech, that thing is mouse porn.

I think mice are very personal tbh. I went through loads before I settled on a logitech G5 for a couple of years. When it wore out I got a razer diamondback 3g edition but I didn't get on with it in fps gaming. Switched to a razer imperator (original version) and felt like a refinement on the g5 tbh. The g5 was my favourite for fps gaming but always made my hand ache, the imperator is flawless to me.

Had the EXACT same kit. Moved on to Corsair K90 and M60 and never looked back... build quality for these goodies from Corsair is simply unmatched.;)

What does everyone think of the mionix zibal 60 an naos 5000. They look great and the reviews seem good. I have thought about the corsair k90 looks great.

I'd recommend the rat 7, I'm loving it atm (and theirs even been an mmo version released not that long ago if your into that).

I'd be reluctant to recommend my V5 keyboard, I've had a few hicups with it on windows 7, where it wouldn't install/respond etc (none of this happened on my Vista 64-bit pc), but it's been working for the last wee while and I really enjoy it, just the initial hurdle of getting it to install lol

I'd go for a Logitech G9x Mouse. by far the nicest mouse I have ever used :)

For keyboard, go mechanical! Something from the Qpad range? I've only heard great reviews for them :)

Steel Series xai/sensei/sensei raw(slightly cheaper)
Steel Series 7g/6gv2
I currently am using 7g and sensei, they are a wonderful combination. The 7g is a sweet mech keyboard, you'll want to look out for it. As for the sensei, the tracking is flawless in my opinion. Its a sleek, good looking mouse that isnt over the top like a lot of razer products... I highly recommend both, been using them together for a while not had any issues whatsoever.

Right guys I've decided on my keyboard I'm going to get a qpad mk 80 . What I'm now wandering is should I get it custom of there site and have specific mechanical keys put in and which keys are the best for general use and fps gaming. As for the mouse I'm going for deathadder.
