Keyboard and mouse set

I cant justify spending £50 each on keyboard and mouse, so instead I'm wanting a set for £50, or even less as I still cant justify spending that much but realised it needs to be done to get decent quality.

so any suggestions? I really like this old cream/grey compaq keyboard I'm typng on just now, but i sppose i could have be used to it.

It doesnt even need to be as a set, maybe two seperate examples.

Do you need/want wireless?
 
doesnt matter really. I know every-one is different and even different keyboards can be but i odnt like my parents generic dell one as the keys are rather stiff and seem to have a lot of travel with them.
An other one I like is the laptop my dad has, i knoe keyboards between desktop and laptops are really different but theres something about the soft touch.

Sorry just trying to give yous an idea for the type of feel i want.
 
For budget keyboard and mouse check out the Logitech EX 110 - £20 for a wireless keyboard and mouse - the keyboard is excellent - nice keys not too noisy. The mouse is nothing special but works fine - what do you expect for that price.

To spend more of your budget try the Logitech Media Keyboard Elite. I've got no recommendations for mice in your budget as I've not got any in that price range. I've only mentioned Logitech as I've used all of those and their customer service is excellent.

I suggest you go into a local shop and try some keyboard mice and see how they feel - then post which ones you like and people can tell you if they're reliable or not.
