Is there such a thing? am looking for silent keyboards and mouse, ones that do not make that clink or clunk noise!

Family are complaining they can hear me clicking at night and ear mufflers don't look good on the dog either.
 
Still clicks on the qpad after seeing the review on youtube but sounds much more silent...

One day that click and clunk will be gone !
 
I was joking, mech keyboards are probably the noisiest you can get :p

Seriously though, have you looked at Mac keyboards? Or a similar flat keyboard (almost laptop-type). Doubt they'll hear one of those.

They can't possibly hear your mouse clicks from behind a closed door!?

I know you have a few mech keyboards with silent switches but still clinky

Yeah am leaning towards a flat laptop style keyboard will try some mice and keyboards out in-store and see how it goes or do some further digging, it must exist for a mouse also :)
 
your family complain about clicking? even with headphones i imagine sound leakage must be more than that?

you could be silent with a mech, if you manage to learn it so well that you don't press the switches down fully, although i'll say this, it aint too easy a habit to drop.

don't microsoft do a touch mouse? its weird as, but if you want a lack of mouse clicking it's a strange option.

alternatively you could:
1. tell family to stop complaining/start using earphones
2. go to bed early, if its browsing you're getting up to use your phone in bed
 
yeah those mech keyboards even with the brown or silent switches are only slightly better.

I have been silently waiting for a silent mouse/keyboard for a few decades so just figured someone might have come up with a decent product but it seems not or very little.

But I guess I ain't alone a massive thread on silent computing forum here with recommendations on silent keyboard+mice:

I did not like that ms touch mouse, flat style keyboards with laptop type keys tend to be best like the apple keyboards.

The mouse click, one can try this mod here:

but it voids warranty

quitemouse.com also do a mouse which is much more silent :) few other products as well.

Overall I think ill go into a computer shop and try out some mice I tried a Rat mouse while wired its click was quiet so may just need to try a few out and then decide etc
flat keyboards are everywhere and cheap too.
 
the cherry blue switches sounded just as clicky gets worse when space button and enter key pressed!


I think the flat keyboards and mac/laptop style keyboards are going to be more ideal for myself, thanks.
