keyboard and mouse

£50 to get a new keyboard and mouse

it is better to get an normal keyboard and mouse OR a gaming keyboard and mouse

with the normal type i could get a mid price set up, but with gaming parts it would be classed as a low end set up but would the added extras you get on the gaming stuff make for a better choice

I think the best you can get for that type money is:

The sidewinder is a really good keyboard but has a slightly different key spacing that may or may not put you off. The g400 is a great mouse with sensitivity and side buttons.

i sould add i dont play games on my pc, it's more of a what would give better value for cash

In that case a bog standard logitech keyboard should do the trick if you don't want the bells and whistles like back lighiting and macro keys. Maybe something like http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-188-LG&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=2

I would still get the g400 though.
