At the moment I am using a Logitech G15 (past few years) but lately while playing games I sometimes have to double tap or feel like the key is not as fast at responding to how fast I am pressing. I play a lot of MMOs and FPS.

When I first bought my Logitech G15 I was all into the screen and loads of macro keys etc but now i have come to realize the etc screen is just a waste as I use x2 monitors anyway. Macro keys I tend to use on my mouse more now as it is a lot faster to respond. So basically I feel mechanical keyboards are the only way to go as I am looking for a fast response.

**I was originally looking at the Corsair K70 but noticed in another thread the Ducky Shine 4, I have never seen a lot of gamer reviews of ducky keyboards though.
 
Exactly the same as you I wanted a smaller keyboard and got the K70 on offer for £84 from here, not used it yet but its replacing a G11 for the same reasons as you although its about 4/5 years old
 
For fast response, consider cherry MX black switches. They are likean MX red but with a stiffer spring meamimg they reset quicker.
 
I am leaning towards the Razer Blackwidow Chroma more & more because it has one row of macros keys, unfortunately the corsair k95 has far to many for my needs.

**Hmm and now I see a lot of reviews about how bad the keys are..
