I have an Asus X99-S, and my USB keyboard (Logitech K740) keeps failing, as in suddenly mid-type, I get no response from the keys (but it's illuminated and that stays, so it's not a power issue)... sometimes it won't happen for days, and then it'll happen 4-5 times in the space of 10 minutes. Very VERY annoying... removing the USB connector and reconnecting always brings it back again... when I do that sometimes it's fine for the rest of the day, and then other times it'll go again 30 seconds later. I have read this is due to the microcode driving the USB on X99... is that a fault on ALL motherboards, or will it be unique to mine? I don't want to RMA unless I have to, but even then the problem will be replicating the fault, as it occurs at completely random times. Really don't know what to do, it's driving me crazy!!
