Keyboard delay?

I have a pc line keyboard and for some reason in games like bfbc2 there is a terrible delay when responding to a key press and sometimes it doesn't respond. It also doesn't seem to like fast switching from one weapon to another.

Is this a common thing with some keyboards?
 
Never happened on my Logitech keyboards although I've only used my G11 on BFBC2.

There is a limit to the number of keys you can press at the same time, after which no further keypresses are registered. For example on my keyboard it is 6 buttons. I think some keyboards allow more, maybe some allow less.

Or try PS2 if you are using USB and vice versa.

Yep online, it's fine with general use

For example i'll be in the tank firing and i get hit with a rocket, damage is flashing and i need to get out. Pressing on the e button nothing happens i die. I've tagged a tank and i quickly press for the rpg nothing happens, it seems to be the rate at which i want to go from one to another. Didn't happen with my HP keyboard though that was PS2
 
I would say its interent/graphical lag more than a keyboard issue. Check your ping and graphics settings.
 
Entering and exiting vehicles I believe is server dependent so could be down to lag. I don't think weapon switching is though. Sure I could weapon switch when I got disconnected the other day.
