Hey folks,

I've been told by my brothers I've a £60 limit for Christmas and with the release of Star wars soon I was looking into a new keyboard as I have a standard £5 Microsoft keyboard.

I was looking at the Razer Lycosa but have heard many bad reviews.

I've seen on this board that the Microsoft sidewinder x4 is recommended.

What are you guys suggestions ?

Thanks in advance

Sidewinder is good but if I had £60 right now I would probably buy a 'Noppoo Choc Mini NKRO Mechanical Keyboard Cherry Brown'.

Search for it. ;)

That keyboard and me would have the worst relationship ever lol.

but it does look pretty cool with the compactness of it but I'm after a full sized gaming keyboard.

I can tell you not to get the X6, I had one and it doesn't have anti ghosting (the X4 does and yet is cheaper:confused:)

some of the first lycosas were not good infact there was a free keyboard shipped to a lot of people becuase they basically didnt work ( i actually was quite lucky to get 2 free ones since the one they sent as a replace ment was also faulty a bit. I have probably used this keyboard now for a number of years and its very nice to type on imho. Its not a mech keyboard at all so you dont get any clicking. I would think that razor would have ironed out the issues with it now for example on all three of my keyboards the fancy media keys just dont work. Although I have not had any issues other than that. I cannot really recommend any other keyboard since I only have used the lycosa for a number of years.
