Ok got a few problems here.

I had a beta trial of Windows 7 but it expired and it shuts down every 2 hours. I have a serial code for Windows 7 Professional from MSND university thing so I went to install the cd but used a windows 7 Home Premium (girlfriends). I realised my error and thought well I'll just pop in the Win 7 Pro disk and install that but it comes up with an error. You need to boot up from this DVD to install.

The disk is and I boot up press f12 the select the first boot device and I get the screen. Lovely, however then my keyboard doesn't work it won't let me select DVD drive as the boot device. Really annoying.

Is there a way I can set the boot device to be the DVD drive from the desktop or is there a way to make the keyboard work. I tried my old keyboard but that didn't work either. They're both USB

any help appreciated thanks
