Since upgrading last year, I have an intermittent problem with connecting a USB keyboard which occasionally drops. Only disconnecting and reconnecting resumes the keyboard.
I have two USB keyboards and have the same problem on both. I have tried various USB ports to no avail. I've the most recent chipset drivers and updated the BIOS (F18). I'm convinced this is a controller/power problem on the board. Can you put any light on this?
Motherboard - Gigiabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K
Memory - Crucial Ballistix Tracer 16GB 1600Mhz
Graphics - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Windforce 3X 2048MB
PSU - Corsair HX 620W
Operating System - Microsoft Windows 7 - Home Premium
