How do you use ALT codes on a Logitech DiNovo Edge keyboard which doesn;t have a numeric pad?

I Have tried all sorts of combinations between Alt, Shift, Ctrl, Alt Gr, Fn and Scrl Lock.

Surely there must be a decent way to do them?

i believe it is [ALT] + the numbers abover all the letters. i know you can use these numbers on other keyboards to the same effect i.e pressing alt + 168 on my keyboard does: '¿'. just hold alt whilst you type in the number combo
