I have two keyboards, a 20 year old Microsoft multimedia thing.
Pros: Great to type on, volume control buttons and a sleep button.
Cons: Big, ugly and noisy, slow USB hub

And the last USB Apple keyboard (A1243, aluminium, 109):
Pros: Looks great, small, low profile keys
Cons: No sleep or volume buttons

My ideal keyboard would be like the Apple, but have a USB 3 hub, backlight and sleep and volume control.
Does such a thing exist for under £50?

Secondly - The Apple thing has 19 function keys - any way to map F19 to sleep? And F17 and F18 to volume?

Might be hard to find one.
Selection of non-mechanical keyboards most hshops have in sale has dropped in the last 10 years.
Geizhals.eu would have search with more accurate options.

NirCmd could be used to create link for putting PC into standby and then you coud have shortcut key (/combination) for that.

Also Autohotkey could be used to script something equivalent.
