Keyboard isn't working

Recently my keyboard hasn't been working, meaning I have to type this message on my phone. I don't know why this has been happening and would appreciate any suggestions that anybody has.
 
Tried different USB sockets? Checked the USB sockets are working fine?

Checked the keyboard is being recognised in the Device Manager?

Does it have led backlights? If so is it lighting up? Do the Caps Lock/Num Lock button light up when pressed?

Just a few ideas of things to check.
 
Try it in another machine/laptop.
Try another keyboard.
If it's wireless, replace the batteries/resync it.
