Hey, starting to have a small issue with input lag from keyboard, it started while i was playing wow, just felt like when i was pressing the keys my character was lagging slightly but my ping was fine, then in chat, i would type a way and it would hang then suddenly put in 3-4 words, type normally then hang and 3-4 words. Now it is doing it in world of tanks and chrome and i think microsoft word as well.

I'm check if its the keyboard when my flatmate gets up, test it on his pc, maybe the buffer on the keyboard isn't broken or something. Also changed the roll over setting, still no change.

What i'm worried about is that it's like a key logger or some other malware.

The only thing i have changed in the last week or 2 is update the bios, reinstall audio drivers and change to a pair of Astro A40s with the mix amp, so sound is now running through the optical port.

Edit: tech specs
i7 3770k
gigabyte z77-d3h with latest beta bios
16gb ram
amd 7870
samsung 830 ssd
2tb samsung sshd
xigmatech powersupply

Corsair k95 keyboard

So just to clarify, have you tested it on your friends PC and their was no change?

Sounds like it's something related to your graphics or chipset drivers. On that basis, I'd be pretty tempted just to reinstall Windows again.

I know Driver Genius costs money, but you can you use the trial to find out what drivers are out of date.

Well changed out my i7 and motherboard for my amd 8350 and motherboard. It has fixed the keyboard lag and also some of the other issues i was having, like when watching youtube/twitch/netflix or loading webpages i could hear it being downloaded as like background noise, also turns out none of the system fans were working either.

So i think the motherboard was slowly dying, worked but with issues now its working fine with new mobo and cpu aswell as a fresh install of windows
