Not so long ago enter keys used to be big and square... why is it then that they're now not much bigger than a tab? and that there are few *proper* keyboards available? :(

Wow, i just had a look at the OcUK range, and your right, the enter key has been shrunk!

Luckily i have an "older" keyboard.

Most of the images are of US layout keyboards, which have the single line Carriage Return key (Enter is the key on the Keypad, Return is the one in the main bulk of the keyboard).

Most UK layout boards are still the same double height Carriage Return style.

I prefer the big key myself, can't stand the tab size return keys. Mine is labelled as Enter though same as the numeric key.

LOL:D

Just had a look and I didn't even notice that before.

But I ordered a Saitek Eclipse 2 in Aug from ocuk and it has a normal size enter, whereas the pic on there shows it as small as the tab. Strange!

i got that little tab 1, was hard getting use 2 at first, i still do push the wrong button, but i don't care keyboards a keyboard at the end of the day.

I brought my G15 over with me from Canada. I much prefer the layout and enter key on it.
Only pain is having to use extended characters to get the £ sign.

Who decided it would be a good idea to mess with the Insert/Home/PgUp/Del/End/PgDn buttons?

Yes, I still use the arrow buttons to play some games :)
