Keyboard layout.

if you get a keyboard with US layout, can you rearrange the keys to UK layout and tell windows its a UK keyboard?

Yes just change the settings in control panel, I am in the UK and have mine set to US layout because I prefare it. (If this is what you mean? )

You can; however there are a few keys with don't exist on a US keyboard and as such you will miss \ you can replicate this using Holding Alt and pressing 9 then 2 on the num pad release Alt and it will type \.

I used to use a US keyboard at work, and it was fine... other than when I wanted to use it via an RDP session, all of which had UK keyboards.
