Keyboard lighting light bulb issue

Hi everyone, I have a week old Lenovo IdeaPad and I note that on the 'home' key, or the left arrow key, one of the bulbs for the back light keyboard is white but it doesn't show through the key, just the side of it. No others key have this. (The warm white still shows through the key like the other ones though).

1. Is this normal?

2. If it isn't, (which I think so because none of the other keys have this issue), would it be classed as defective and need to be repaired?

3. Should I just get over it because I'm annoying?

If it's a week old, I'd raise it with the manufacturer regardless of it's "dangerous".

Yes it's probably purely a cosmetic fault, but you don't expect any faults on a brand new product, cosmetic or not.

(Assuming it's not just the way it's been designed).

You need to take a better picture in the dark though, it's hard to see any of the lighting in that photo
Thank you. I was worried the retailer may say it functions fine which it does so they may not accept a return.

Here’s a better photo:

Thanks for helping me. Would you return it? No other key has that issue.

The home key looks the same as the ones around it in that (blurry) photo?

But yeah, if it was faulty then I'd return it. Doesn't matter if it "functions fine". A brand new car with a massive dent in the door "functions fine" but you hopefully wouldn't accept it!
I was trying to show in the photo the twinkle of the light next to the home button. Thanks.

The white spot? I thought it was a reflection.

Not dangerous but could be annoying if it catches your eye.
Does the keyboard dim and only light up when you're using it? Shouldn't be a much of a problem in that case as your right hand will cover the button when you're typing.

If you are happy with the rest of the laptop I wouldn't go through the hassle of a return just for that small light leak. Cover it with a permanent marker pen.
Yes, the white spot.

Glad it’s not dangerous, yes, it keeps catching my eye.

Thanks so much for the help. I was thinking is it worth returning as the laptop runs very smoothly and I’ve set it up just the way I like it.

Thanks for your help, I’ll learn to live with it.
