Keyboard loses connection?

Hello,

I recently purchased an Enermax Aurora keyboard from Overclockers (link). The keyboard itself is amazing, but I have a problem with it.

Basically it randomly loses the connection to the computer. After reading a few reviews on Overclockers a few people have commented they have the same problem. It is a bit stupid for a £45 keyboard to suddenly lose it's connection randomly, and it is a lot of agro having to keep unplugging it and plugging it in again.

Does anyone know how I can solve the problem? Or is it an uncommon problem and does not effect every single Enermax Aurora keyboard? Should I RMA it?

Thank you.

problem you have is the number of people that may have brought the keyboard, not really heard a lot about it.

i'd swap it put for another usb keyboard if you have one lying about and see if that has the same issue.

have you tried it in different ports, are usb settings all enabled/setup in the bios ?

Thanks for the reply. It is a pretty expensive keyboard, which is probably why many people do not really have it.

I did try my old keyboard and it worked perfectly, so I think it is just the keyboard itself with the problem. Likewise I tried it in different ports and the same thing happened. What I am trying to establish though is if it is a common problem with this type of keyboard, so if I know whether to get another type or whatever when I send this one back.

i would say you;'re best chance of finding out would be to find an enermax users forums or something similar tbh.
