My keyboard keeps losing power. Every few minutes, the lights go out and the unplug USB sound goes off. A few seconds later the lights come back on and the USB sound goes off again. Also, for some bizarre reason, whenever it goes off, it interrupts youtube/music playback.

Anyone got any idea? The keyboard is around a year old and is cheapo PC world basic one. The mouse is unaffected, but that is a lot higher quality (G9x).

tried in another port ?

usualy a sign the keyboards loosing power/connection try new batts or recharge it and retest it.

I think it is a faulty keyboard to be honest.

One more question. If a faulty keyboard keeps losing power and is constantly switching itself off and on, could this cause things like stuttering in streaming (BBC, YouTube)?

Have you tried it in another PC.

I sometimes have a problem with my mouse. Sometimes when I change settings in the bios usually for ocing. I find when I get to the windows desktop the mouse has stopped working. All I have to do is pull it out the usb socket and refit to get it working. The reason I am telling you this is because my problem is when I adjust the mobo causing the mouse to stop.

This is way I have sugested trying your keyboard in another PC to rule out the mobo.
