keyboard, monitor and mouse in other room??

hi,

I want to have a monitor, keyboard and mouse in another room of the house. Its over 5 metres away and I don’t just want to run 3 cables the length of the house. I think I’ve seen a combined cable that might do, but is there any problems with distance?

Anyone got any ideas?
