Hi all! I currently have a Logitec MK710 combo which constists of the MK700 Keyboard and the MK705 Mouse. See here. It about 4 years old so it's well worn, the pads on the bottom of the mouse are worn right down, the mouse seems slightly jittery lately too. Games are smooth but mouse movement is not so smooth in a few games?

I am looking for an upgrade, it has to be wireless as I game and use my PC in the living room. Also have a 2 year old little girl, so wires across the living rooms is a no no. I was thinking on either this or this. Are these gona be any good for gaming? Mainly FPS's.

Since I game on the sofa I have an old Razor Sphex Mouse Mat, which is a sticky mat surface, exactly like this. I have it stuck to plate coaster. Strange but it works :). It is also about 4 years old, might even be older tbh. Any other solid mouse pads other than this one? Or any other suggestions for sofa gaming?

Any other suggestions for sofa gaming much appreciated! I don't need a £150 gaming mouse but I need something which is gona be suitable. Combo's are good if suitable too and maybe prefered.

Thanks all!

I game on my recliner sofa, the keyboard sits on my lap and the chair next to me is the perfect height for a mouse. And my arm rest perfectly as if it was a desk, just in a wider stance. My only is need is a solid mouse mat as the chair is of course soft. Anybody recomend any other hard mouse mats suitable?

Thos lap pad gizmos do seem good, however I can see the mouse constantly falling off if you wanted to type and you moved...

Just regarding keyboard you linked...it doesn't have backlight, which is pretty annoying in the living room (you don't wanna play with room light on, or even some lamp next to you in the evening;P ). Also it's full keyboard (with numeric keys on the right), do you really need them for playing and need big keyboard for living room? Like Corsair linked K63 wireless, mechanical keyboard is small, with led backlight, works very well for me at least:)

See I must be strange then lol. I would prefere a bigger full size keyboard, as it's more easier to sit it across my legs rather than a smaller variant. And the backlight would do my nut in, I can type without looking at the keys anyways. I also have a dimmable side light next to me, so I can have that on low if needed. Guess we all want different things, or I'm just a bit strange.
