Keyboard, mouse, monitor switch PC/Mac

I have a regular PC, HDMI monitor, USB mouse and (Apple) keyboard. I'm considering adding a Mac Mini but I'd really like to reuse the same keyboard, mouse and monitor and be able to switch quickly between the two systems (while they are both on). Is this easy to do these days or not?

Pretty much, but depends on the screen resolution.
What resolution are you running the monitor at?

Yup, most devices will be plug 'n' play and one of the biggest issues would be key mappings but you've got that sorted with an Apple keyboard (i use one on a PC as well).
I would be looking at a KVM to make life a little simpler though.
