I'd go for the last one there. I have the battery version of the mx1100 mouse and its a brilliant mouse. If you liked your old mx mouse , you will love the new one. As for the keyboard that comes with that deal - looks very nifty.

g15 and g5

had them for a while now and not had any trouble with them at all,

mouse is really really good quality

Paul that G5 looks sweet, but I'm after wireless :) (the G5 looks like a souped up version of my aging MX700 mouse)

comndr andi Is that 1100 quite a large mouse? My hands aren't the biggest, and that's what I love about the MX700( it fits very well). Is the mouse heavy, does it sit well on the desktop, not too light?

thanks

Paul

I've got the Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 7000 - i bought mine purely for fiscal reasons as i was able to get it cheaply.

Having said that it's a perfectly formed bit of kit. The keyboard is satisfying to use and has enough weight to stay in place when in use. The mouse does it's job well and it is light, quite large but even small hands would have no problem using it (my wife has no probs) and is comfortable to use.

The dongle receiver is great - the size of a usb pen and even stuck in the back of my pc under a desk it has zero connection problems.

This is more a mini review rather than a recommendation over the others - it basically does it's job well and is standard MS fare.

Aye, the mx1100 is a pretty big and heavy mouse. Its form factor is very similar to other MX mouses though, so if you liked the feel of the mx700, you will adore the mx1100. My little sister uses the mouse too and she loves it (she has little hands compared to me). As for the weight, it uses two AA batteries, which really adds some weight. However, I find this to be a good thing as it glides across the desk very happily. I usually have to add weights to achieve the same effect with my g5.

Thanks for that andi. I like the heaviness of the MX700 so that's a plus :) It's looking like the desktop Wave Pro then for my next treat!
