keyboard/mouse

If you do a lot of typing then with that budget I would recommend having a go with the Apple wired keyboard (with numpad) - it costs around £30. It takes a little getting used to, but the good quality low-profile chiclet style keys really do make typing faster. It also has a caps lock putton with an LED on it which lights up when caplock is on.

You also may want to consider a mechanical switch keyboard - the cherry G80-3000 for example costs around £55 and uses MX Blue Switches. It has a caps lock LED in the standard place (top right of the board).

As for mouse - I'm not too sure - but I would recommend something corded and laser.
