So I finally got a hold of a USB > PS/2 converter (for the keyboard) so I can install a OS on a old PC.

Plug it in, power up, but nope, no keyboard found.

I checked using a multimeter and there is 5V being fed to the adapter, the lights on the keyboard dont even turn on but the keyboard and adapter work fine on the other PC both separately and together.

Already tried clearing BIOS but still same problem... What could be wrong?

Oh right i see that is strange, can't think what it might be, try getting hold of a standard PS/2 keyboard if you can and see if that works and if there's nothing in the bios to change then maybe the port is possibly borked?

I'll borrow a PS/2 keyboard this weekend and see what happens, If it dont work then finding a mATX Socket 370 board with 4DIMM's is going to prove very difficult.
