New build, nice have it running at 4.5 everything going fine loaded some software on, can't beleive how fast it is. Turned it on this morning and got "keyboard not recognised" from the BIOS, the keyboard and mouse are both usb, the mouse works no problem. Any help would be much appriciated. New sytem in sig.

Maybe try a usb to ps2 converter. Can you test the keyboard on another system/laptop to see if its a keyboard or bios issue? Have you tried a different usb port, maybe the mouse one to confirm all usb ports are working?

Just some ideas for isolating the problem..

Ok, i had one keyboard which was PS2 one wireless usb, using the usb one for 3 days on my new build then I got the keyboard error, so orded a ps2 to usb converter from the bay (i should have nown better) tried that and still got the error, just tried the converter on my next doors compiter did not work. Went to overclockers and bought the cheap gaming keyboard everthing ok, and the keyboard is good enough to keep and use. So panic over. Thanks.
