Keyboard not Working correctly

Im having a very bad problem WIth my Keyboard, suddenly (overnight) it Won't type any numbers in apart from 4 and 5, the rest appear as symbols (£"^&*((545) only 4 and 5 WorK

the full stop Key doesn't WorK nor does the backslash Key

Also to type in caps lock, the caps lock KEy has to be off and to type in non caps the caps lock KEy has to be on>

Ive reinstalled WIndoWs and the problem is still there and tried all the usb ports on my computer

I think it is interfering With my mouse also because it can scroll down in BIOS but not in WindoWs and everything I click on gets highlighted

I loaded onscreen keyboard and it was changing randomly to assigning numbers as letters, when i finally got on screen keyboard to work properly i restarted it and it seems to be working (my actual keyboard) with no problems atm, fingers crossed.

You may have accidentally switched your keyboard to another "language". I know when you switch it to French/Canadian French the ? becomes an E with an accent and many others switch as well.

Go into Control Panel and check Regional and Language Options. Make sure its set to English US or UK

it was set to english united states, switched to english uk now, fingers crossed.
