keyboard not working on new system?

have built a new system. in setup screen my wireless keyboard is working. but when i put the windows xp pro dvd/cd in, it runs until the point where it prompts to press enter to continue installing windows etc, but then nothing happens when i press enter!

can anyone advise me please?

I always keep a wired keyboard handy for encounters like this. You might try toggling legacy USB keyboard support in the BIOS.
