Hi All

My Keyboard is not working with any Linux what so ever.

I tried Linux for the first time a few days ago and now do not ever want to use windows again.

The problem seems to be once I'm in a Linux OS and not any time before.

I've tried all sticky and slow keys options with no joy.

Ones I installed are Mint, Fedora and Utubu last one is spelt wrong.

My specs are.
Win 10
Gamidas keyboard & mouse.
Sabertooth r2 asus.
8gb ram
2tb drive tried with Linux on it.
500gb SSD games
1200 watt PSU
FX 8350

Also used a PS2 keyboard adapter with no results.

I am dying to switch to Linux after using it but can't at the moment.

Thank You
DX24

Your right it was the keyboard. The only problem now is I'm a gamer on an old ps2 keyboard.

Would love to know anybody with Linux who could recommend a gaming keyboard that works with it.

Thanks for the info Steve.

Check your USB setting in the BIOS first!.

This is what mine is on.

Regards what works,
Have the roccat isku-fx KB and XTC mouse work well. As in all of it as the roccat stuff has full linux support. (thanks to Stefan Achatz the driver/app developer)

Screeny of the driver/app (Mageia 5)

My son has the ryos K/b and tyon mouse, ryos KB is a mechanical iirc.

My old logitech K/B n mouse worked in Linux fine though all be it in standard form

Keyboard isn't working because there isn't a driver in Linux for it. Gamdias don't officially support Linux.
Apparently they will give you support on request though so try contacting them.
Or you can't go wrong buying a Roccat.

Thanks guys for your help. I just contacted Gamidas so will wait and see. Going to try those usb settings as before they was all enabled. If all fails I'll get a roccat keyboard.
