Keyboard or gamepad

For Pubg it's Keyboard and Mouse and for Fifa and ETS2 I use xbox controller until I get a steering wheel for my driving games

Very much depends on the game and I tend to look at reviews/discussions when installing the game for advice. I game on my sofa right now, so gamepad is convenient but some games are just better with mouse/KB.

Mostly K&M, the odd TPP game (Arkham series) on xbox controller.
Used to have a G27 for driving games and that was a fantastic feeling.
HOTAS for flying games (even Arma3 vehicle control)

I am going to build an ITX system and as it will be in the bedroom and monitor on the wall i was contemplating getting a gamepad to use with the pc when relaxing on the bed

Wireless Xbox controller would be ideal. Maybe a wireless combi K&M think for desktop activities as well?

Gamepad and little keyboard/mouse board. Have got a a 60% keyboard on a sheet of MDF which works nicely

Any pics?

I made one that had full size keyboard, space for mouse and a cuppa and phone. That sat across an armchair nicely with a belly contour. This is mark 2, with magnets the mouse parks onto (in the position pictured).

I could squeeze a bit more size out of it but this is a comfortable mouse space and not a comically restrictive keyboard :)

Edit: keyboard is held on with Velcro so the whole lot can be leant upright on the sofa.

Superb. I like the idea of the velcro too!

Depends on what I'm playing.

I'd never play an FPS or RTS style game with a gamepad, if I'm playing a RPG or something like Devil May Cry I'll use a gamepad.
