Hey all, hope someone can help here.

I have a Roccat Ryos MK Pro and the ! (exclamation mark) will not work when the shift and 1 key is pressed. If I press the 1 key on its own it works and the number 1 is displayed.

I have noticed that If its in an internet page if I hold down the shift and 1 key everything in the window pain is highlighted instead of showing/printing an !.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Happens on multiple pcs? Or if you clean boot a live usb (Linux or Windows)?

Trying to eliminate it being a funky keyboard layout problem, or a macro software problem

Have you tried plugging it into a different PC to confirm it's an issue with the keyboard and not with the operating system?

Sorry, what do you mean "clean boot a live USB"? I use Windows 10.

Um, you could download a live iso for Ubuntu and boot it from USB. Or even boot into the windows recovery environment and see if the problem occurs there.

Really you're just trying to eliminate your windows install, or something on it, as the source of the problem.

Ok issue is still here. It was working and stopped. Plugged in another (dell) keyboard and the ! isn't working on that one either.

HAHAHA!!!! I have found out what the problem was. When Tobii eye tracking was turned on it wouldn't work as one of the shortcuts used the shift and 1 key. Good god the stress and hours this has taken me to resolve this.
