I've had a problem with my keyboard for a while now, (at least i think it must be the keyboard anyways) It's a bog standard, no extra's, wired keyboard that i've used for 3 years.
The problem has survived a re-format, then a complete component overhaul to what is listed in my sig (all that remains of the original system is my sound card and my keyboard)
Ok... the problem is as follows...
Basically what happens is, my keyboard stops working for about 5 seconds at a time randomly, usually when it hasnt been used for about 30 seconds or so i find.
I usually notice this the most whilst playing World of Warcraft, as when i stand still for a small amount of time, i then find i cant move or do anything with the keyboard. (and no its not in game lag as i can operate with the mouse still)
I've also found that whilst playing Morrowind Oblivion, it periodically alt-tabs out of the game for no reason.
It is becoming infuriating having to wait a few seconds for the computer to register that i've typed something etc
Any idea's what it could be, bearing in mind its survived a change of motherboard and a re-format??
