Keyboard Recommendation

Hi there - once again I'm here to seek guidance :)

I'm after a new keyboard for a mix of "real" typing and general gaming. I've seen that the X4 is on special offer today and it seems to get some good reviews - however, could anyone please let me know how they find it for general typing rather than purely gaming. Otherwise - could anyone recommend an alternative?

My current keyboard is (I think) 12 years old and has given good service (and has really nice springy keys for typing) - however, it is finally giving up the ghost and it's time to move on...

As ever - all feedback and comments/suggestions welcome.

Forgot to mention - it would be good if the keyboard had feet at the back to tilt it :)

Cheers

Well - had my new keyboard for 24 hours and very pleased indeed with it so far :)

I had read a couple of reviews where people complained that the keys were closer together than on a "normal" keyboard - but to me that doesn't seem to be the case - more a problem of getting used to a new keyboard having used the old one for over a decade!

Typing for work is great - nice travel on the keys and less noisy than my old spring loaded model. The macro recording is actually quite useful for Excel as well as gaming.

My only gripe would be that the high gloss plastic of the keyboard looks fantastic....for about an hour, after which it doesn't half show up the dust! But that's only a minor thing - overall I think it's an excellent purchase - so thanks to all those who pointed me in the right direction :)

Cheers
