I'm looking for a cheap (£15 max) keyboard. Has to have props at the back to angle it and quiet keys. Don't want the curved or split style, just a plain, decent kb to replace my current one. Also not bothered about media buttons.

Spec me! :D

Have you tried the curved keyboards? I just got a windows 2000 set and I find the keyboard really nice to type on even though I am used to using a standard layout keyboard. It's really quiet too.

The comfort curve 2000 on OcUK is the wired version of it. If not I have heard good things about the Logitech Ultra, they're about a tenner.

I've been a Microsoft Natural keyboard user for years. I'm still using my first one, purchased in 1996 for $80(!) after well over 20 million keystrokes. It's definitely nice and you can get a refurb for a song on that big auction site. I got one there for my father about four months ago for $12 delivered.

still using my Natural Keyboard Pro here too, purchased in 2000 or 2001, not sure which. Still works perfectly fine :D

I really lilke the recent Dell USB compact quietkey keyboards, very nice to type on and they do not take up unecessary desk space!

Microsoft keyboards always seem to be good to me, the Natural keyboards with the split in the middle can take a little bit of getting used to but once done they are fantastically comfortable. My current keyboard is a bog-standard Microsoft Multimedia keyboard that is getting on for about 4 years old, it replaced a Natural keyboard simply because I sold it. :)

//edit the IBM keyboard above will last indefinitely but I always found the keys to be a little bit too 'clicky' which puts me off typing a bit.
