keyboard remapping

Hi,

I want to remap some keys so that = becomes backspace, shift + = becomes + and alt + = becomes =. I also want the home key to become backspace and shift + home to become home.

This is because I have a small keyboard and want to avoid miss-hits.

Is there any way I can do this? I have tried microsoft keyboard layout creator and it won't remap to backspace. Other remapping software won't remap alt+= grrrrr.

Any ideas? Or should I remap = and home to backspace in one piece of software then use msklc to remap shift + = to + and alt + = to =?

Edit: found I could use autohotkey for this purpose
