Keyboard remapping

I've got an american keyboard which has been setup to use the UK language, but I'm missing the pound sign on numeric 4.

Can you recommend some software for remapping the keyboard? Ideally I would be looking to map just the one key - number 4.

you may have already had the pound sign, it's normally on the number 3. Still, dead handy to be able to change what keys get used where, I'm currently struggling with a mix of different keyboards on different systems that all have slight layout quirks, might remap them all to be the same...
