i currently own Logitech G810.. and i love the keyboard in therms of layout and how the switches feel... but logitech romer g keycaps are a nightmare. Keycaps keep breaking (the little tabs inside that hold the key cap) and its impossible to buy replacements for a reasnoble price. I already replaced the switches for E, Q and A... and 4 keycaps that i manages to buy on ebay. Keycaps for CTRL are near impossible to buy.
I had to desolder and clear my shift and now my TAB button starts acting up. Logitech just says that the keyboard is out of warranty and the will not help. :/
I am looking for something similair in size/layout but on possibly cherry (or a clone) switches so i do not have similair problems in the future. I do not want to pay a fortune.
I bought TECWARE PHANTOM RGB 88 UK Layout (QWERTY) Mechanical Keyboard, RGB led, Outemu BROWN Switch to test. Its not bad but i realized i don't like TKL very quickly and the size is a bit different (it seems to be "too tall")
question 1: which switch is most similair to logitech romer g (omron) switch in g810
question 2: what would you recommend guys recommend? i don't really need media buttons but volume wheel would be nice.
if any keyboard expert wants to share his knowledge i will be very gratefull. It would be nice to be able to test some other keyboards myselft but i just don't have the capability or resources to do it.
