Keyboard stays on after shutdown

I recently got a new illuminated keyboard and when I shutdown the system it stays on. Is there a feature in windows or BIOS I should be looking for specifically that will stop this. Hate having to unplug it each time? Thanks for any help

Sounds like you have power on for USB. Do you have an installed application/utility which controls the USB power?

I know on my Gigabyte board, I can charge even if the machine is off?

Check your bios for mobile charging via usb see if it is enabled it keeps a permanent feed to you usb ports

So I poked around in my bios and couldn't see anything specific. I know what I should be looking for but can't find it for the life of me. It's an asus board if that helps any and no I don't have any software installed.

Try looking for a setting by the name of EuP or ErP.

That's what I was looking for. Asus do a good job hiding the important stuff with brief names and descriptions. Thanks for the help everyone!
