Hey guys, having trouble with a new keyboard I got, its mainly during FPS games like Counterstrike that I notice this problem, I cant do 2 tasks at once, you know in a shooter you can do multiple tasks like running and jumping/crouching at the same time, however I can only walk/run, and have 2 stop completely to jump which is a slight nuisance, anyone know a way to rectify this ? I may have to buy a new one, thanks for any help

Is this keyboard a cheap piece of rubbish? or is it from a known company and cost more than a fiver?

I'm sure someone will have the answer, if you can't press something simple like W and Space then yeah that would be annoying.

Only thing I can suggest is download the latest drivers or maybe try re-assigning the keys and see if that changes the situation.

What you are experiencing is known as ghosting - a common problem for gamers. You can find Microsoft's own comprehensive explanation of this phenomenon and the ways it can be overcome here.

I would look in to acquiring a keyboard with anti-ghosting features, such as the Microsoft Sidewinder X4.

Problem is Microsoft stopped making the Sidewinder X4 and they haven't even made a replacement for it! Great keyboard though I did upgrade to a Qpad MK-80.

Wow didn't think it was that bad a problem, I've owned lots of keyboards but have never had one where I couldn't run and jump.
